Monty was rescued as a stray cat in Philadelphia. Monty was dirty, hungry and covered in flea dirt with some broken teeth.  Monty is now clean and had a full dental cleaning including having his broken teeth extracted . Monty is a sweetheart and LOVES to be pet and purr. He's a gentle guy and is never aggressive. He good with kids, cats, and would probably be fine with dogs.  Our vet believes he is around 4-5 years old.  Monty was already neutered when we rescued him but has been tested for feline leukemia/FIV and updated on his vaccines.  Monty did test positive for FIV but he has had a full exam and is currently healthy.  In addition Monty has been microchipped, received a flea treatment and dewormer.  Monty is available for adoption at the Newtown Pet Valu adoption center located at 2814 S Eagle Rd.
