Summer's mom gave birth to her in an alley behind a house in Port Richmond, Philadelphia. Summer was born on September 28 so she will be ready for adoption when she is around 8 weeks old. Summer is the tiny kitten pictured in this photo with her mom, Misty. She has been examined by a vet and appears to be a healthy kitten. Her mom was tested negative for feline leukemia/AIDS.
