Sweet little Tessa was rescued from a Philadelphia shelter were she was brought in as a stray. Unfortunately the shelter receives hundreds of animals a week so her fate was pretty grim. Tessa has been tested negative for feline leukemia/AIDS, vaccinated and dewormed. Tessa is about 7 weeks old (as of September 4th). Tessa was rescued from the shelter with another kitten, Maggie, but we do not believe they are sisters. Other Pictures of Tessa (click to see larger version):
